TITANIC
In observance of the the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we have been learning about this historic event. We have "interviewed" a relative of a survivor to find answers to some of our questions. We are also exploring the different classes onboard ship and we are questioning whether your class had any influence on your survival.

Design Challenge
Build a lifeboat!
Using only 10 plastic straws, 10 inches of plastic wrap, and 6 inches of duct tape, design and build a lifeboat that could hold 25 pennies. Using the design cycle of IMAGINE-PLAN-DESIGN-IMPROVE-SHARE, students had fun creating and testing their lifeboat. Lauren, a second grader, obtained the record of 298 pennies!
