Mrs. Lorraine Gaughenbaugh
This year I am fortunate to be a part of a great staff at Summit STEM Elementary School. While teaching in the Innovation Station, I am able to work with students in a wide range of learning explorations. With more than twenty years of teaching experience, I am still seeing the excitement of students when they are engaged with learning. In my class, we work on creating a strong ensemble of learners where we can collaborate and support one another.
I am involved with the Stand Up for Shakespeare America (SUFSA) program through OSU and the Royal Shakespeare Company. I co-presented at the NCTE (National Council Teachers of English) conference in 2010 and 2011 on using dramatic inquiry, specifically Shakespeare, in the classroom.
I am currently teaching an undergraduate course at Ohio State University on "Teaching and Learning with Drama: An Introduction".
As an adjunct professor at Ashland University, I lead workshops to help teachers learn to integrate technology into their classrooms.
